Introduction
This project was part of the Samsung PRISM Hackathon, where the brief focused on designing Appless, Agentic AI experiences for future smartphones. The goal was to envision how a user’s daily interactions could move beyond traditional app-based navigation into intent-driven, proactive systems powered by AI agents.
We were provided with a predefined persona – Cassie (22), a young professional and lifestyle creator, balancing corporate work with social and personal commitments. Our task was to build realistic scenarios from her life, identify friction points in current mobile experiences, and design an integrated solution that demonstrates how an AI-driven OS could intuitively assist her.
Problem
Current smartphone experiences are app-centric, forcing users to constantly switch between multiple apps for even simple, interconnected tasks. This causes fragmented workflows, cognitive overload, and loss of context — especially for multitasking users like Cassie, who juggles between work, content creation, communication, and personal errands throughout the day.
The challenge was to redesign this interaction paradigm into a task-first, context-aware system where an agentic AI (Hubble) proactively understands intent, coordinates across apps, and performs background actions on the user’s behalf.
