MY JOURNEY
2019- 2020
I spent an exciting year at Istituto Marangoni in Mumbai, diving deep into the world of fashion design. The experience was nothing short of amazing—immersing myself in creative projects, learning from talented instructors, and collaborating with some incredibly inspiring peers. From sketching concepts to exploring fabric textures, every moment was a blend of innovation and style, and I walked away with a whole new perspective on design.
I interned at Rahul Mishra, a luxury fashion label, where I had the opportunity to work with the first Indian designer ever invited to showcase at Haute Couture Week in Paris.
2020- 2024
I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science, specializing in AI and ML from Vellore Institute of Technology, Bhopal, where I gained hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies, working on projects that involved machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and artificial intelligence solutions. However, my passion for design never took a backseat. While diving into the world of technology, I couldn’t resist staying connected to my creative side, so I took part in auditions and secured roles that allowed me to merge both worlds. I became the Design Lead at the AI Club and the Design Coordinator at E-Cell, VIT Bhopal, where I had the opportunity to blend my love for design with my technical expertise, leading teams and executing impactful projects.
2024- 2026
I am currently in the first year of my Master of Design in User Experience Design. The experience so far has been incredibly enriching, allowing me to expand my skills in design thinking, user research, and interactive design. I’ve been diving into various projects that challenge my creativity while focusing on creating user-centered solutions. Recently, I was thrilled to win the Consolation Prize at IndiaHCI-2024, organized by the HCIPAI Awards in the Student Design category. This recognition has fueled my passion for UX design even more and motivated me to continue pushing boundaries in my field.
I successfully completed my Summer Internship at Def Lab, IIT Bombay, under the guidance of Dr. Sugandh Malhotra, Founder – Design for Future Lab, IDC.
Additionally, my team secured the 2nd Prize in a Hackathon organized by Tata Motors in collaboration with MIT-ID.
